You are able to nominate a standout athlete, head coach, or distinguished service member
Athlete Nominee Qualifications
- must be a graduate of Richland Northeast High School
- must have graduated from the high school at least five years from the induction date
- Individual accomplishments of the nominee within a sport are essential (e.g. all-region selection, state championships, school records, state records, etc.)
- Having individual and team success in multiple sports is valued
- While athletic achievement is the focal criteria, moral character and good citizenship during the athlete's time at Richland Northeast will be taken into consideration.
Coach Nominee Qualifications
- Must have been a varsity Head Coach for at least ten years in the sport(s) he/she is being recognized
- Must have been a varsity head coach at Richland Northeast for at least five years in the sport he/she is being recognized
- Must be retired from coaching the sport(s) being nominated for at Richland Northeast High School
- Excellence in coaching is essential (e.g. coaching record, region championship, team state championships etc.)
- Must have demonstrated an ability to enhance the athletic experience of the student-athlete, while serving as a positive role model through exemplary leadership and character
Distinguished Service Nominee Qualifications
- Can be any individual who has made significant contributions to Richland Northeast High School athletics (e.g. athletic trainer, athletic director, assistant coach, etc.) in roles other than athletic participation or head coaching.
- Must have been involved in athletics at Richland Northeast for at least 10 years
- Must have demonstrated an ability to enhance the athletic experience of the student-athlete, while serving as a positive role model through exemplary leadership and character.
Who can nominate?
The established committee or anyone from the community can submit a nomination so as they completely fill out the Hall of Fame nomination form, attach all required documentation and return it by the established deadline for the nominating year.
